Huntin' The Truth Ministries,

    Hi my name is Bradly Allen and I am a hunter for life, thanks to Huntin' The Truth Ministries.  When I was a little kid I always dreamed about hunting, but I had one thing holding me back; yes you probably guessed, it was my parents.  Neither of my parents are hunters.  My uncles are hunters, but they all live to far away.

    Then I met my fellow friends at Huntin' The Truth Ministries, they got me in the woods and coached me on the proper way to hunt.  The first time I went hunting with them it was a youth pheasant hunt and I harvested my first pheasant.  What an awesome experience that was.  Next, I got to go turkey hunting with Pro Staffer Steve Lovasz, although I did not harvest a turkey, I still learned a lot about hunting turkey and the great outdoors.

    This last fall I went on a youth doe management hunt at Welch's north 40.  I was accompanied by Huntin' The Truth members, James Hampton, Michael Welch, James Polly, and Alan Ludwig.  I was not the only kid on the youth hunt there was also the one and only "Dead Eye Dominic".  Dominic was not able to harvest a deer on that hunt.

    I was packing a 30-30 and my bible, hoping and praying to God I would harvest a deer.  Well God answered my prayers.  That evening of the first day we were there I was able to harvest a nice mature doe.  I shot her at 125 yards and dropped her in her tracks she weighed in at a whopping 130lbs. dressed.  It was one of the most memorable moments in my life.

    I would like to thank Pro Staffer Alan Ludwig (Huntin' The Truth Ministries, Media and Marketing Director) for introducing me to this fine Christian brotherhood.  I would also like to thank Huntin' The Truth Ministries and all of its great members for taking me out under their wing, allowing me to learn proper hunting skills and the opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors in a whole new way.  The way God intended us to.
